Saturday Sleet and other Fun stuff

It's Saturday and sleeting here in November, great Christmas shopping weather but I still can't get my mind around it being Halloween this past week already.  Didn't it just turn to fall weather and revisiting my sweaters?  I baked some yummy cupcakes for coach's birthday and the girls had a party with him.  I also remembered to get a card for all the girls to sign for him...yay mom!  Then it was time for Halloween suddenly, but Mary had it covered as usual...she just read the book "The Night Circus" so she decided to dress in black and white.  I just thought she matched Emily.

The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des RĂªves, and it is only open at night.

  1. Ugh! Sleet!! We've had some cool nights in the 30's and mild days, but today I think it's around 70. You know how this crazy Alabama fall weather can be.
The Night Circus sounds neat. I like Mary's costume, whether it's for the book or to match Emily. :)
    And those muffins look yummy.

  2. Sleet? Oh my..We were lucky to be on the other side of the storm, no snow/sleet. Halloween was very warm and didn't get ONE trick/treater..I will say, our place is very dark, even though I had lights on outside..Looks like fun was had your way and Mary looks so cute..
    Have a happy Sunday..xoCarolyn

  3. I thought for a second that Emily had taken to wearing a dress. Mary looks lovely in black and white.
