It was like stepping back into time yesterday, not really sure which time, it was all sort of mixed up. At our park, there were so many interesting things for a fun 4th of July celebration...way before the fireworks. There were old tractors and new ones...really classic cars and not so classic (maybe because I remember these!) My dad's classic 1950 Chevy (the black one in the photo) really shined, even though he parked it in the shade. Then there was the "fur trader" who I thought resembled Col. Mustard trying to sound like an old prospector. He informed me that the black coat hanging up was from a bear (dating back to 1880.) I think he should have let the bear keep his coat then, since he was from a time machine.
Those cars are the coolest! Looks like there was something for everyone and lots of fun to be had.
ReplyDeleteNow this is what I call a different kind of 4th..How funny..You are right..I did have a good laugh over the "fur trader"..Glad you had a great weekend..we did nothing, just sat and enjoyed the weather..which if finally starting to act normal.

How fun! I don't know about that fur trader, was that an insult? Nice cars.
