Some days decisions are easier to make than others, and I find myself sitting on the fence a little longer than I probably should. It's the procrastinator in me, I'm sure. I recently read an article about decision making, and felt my eyes roll a bit when I read that sometimes your mind moves ahead of your body when busy..."the schedule is packed, the pressure is on..." So I take my walks, take in all the simple joys and all the wonderful fingerprints of God, breathe deeply, and try to leave the fence sitting for the squirrels.
John 14:27
I'm leaving you with a gift: peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn't fragile like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid.
I too am often a fence sitter because I always, always see both sides of things and sometimes the grey area in between which makes it difficult to decide. After twisting it all round and round in my mind, I will finally remember to pray about it, especially nice when coupled - like you say - with a long walk and deep breaths. Ahhh. That makes a big difference and then the right decision becomes clear.
ReplyDeleteoh I so do love walks. And yes! They surely do help take the pressure and stress away for me. Finding Gods little treasures and gift along the path. Beautiful I love this thank you.

Sometimes it is good to sit on the fence and look around..think and then go over it..Now what you don't want to do, as I have done, is get hung up on the fence..haha..
