We are thankful for this wonderful sunshine today, even through our sleepy eyes. It makes me crave spring time all the more, this time of renewal. Lent has a way of sneaking up on me...the fish on Fridays is a good clue and wanting mushroom omelets to make it feel like spring...I had one last night. It's still cold here today, not spring yet. But it's more than about getting healthy again and giving up things, which always seem to go together or so I've noticed.
Emily has been so helpful with my project...sitting on my papers while I'm drawing and then sitting on the fabrics while I'm spreading them out. So I know she must be feeling better again and I'm so thankful for that.
Through meditating on the gentleness of your humanity, may I expand my capacity to live. Amen.
I'm glad Emily is feeling better. I think Emily is such a pretty name for a cat.
ReplyDeleteIt feels like Spring here today. It's supposed to shower on Monday. I prefer rainy weather I wish we had more of it.
Hugs

Miss Emily certainly looks good. Hope she's over her little under-the-weather spell
ReplyDeleteGlad you and Emily are enjoying the sunshine and I hope spring is right around the corner! We went to Charlotte overnight to visit family. The weather turned cooler with a bad thunderstorm last night but the sun peeked out again this afternoon in time for Granddaughter Meg's soccer game. (Her team won - 4 to 2!)
ReplyDeleteShe's looking good. It's so damp and rainy here.
ReplyDeletep.s. Your new background is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour cat always give me a smile..I am glad she is well. Sometimes, our cat would get a sick day and bounce right back the next. They can be a fun animal, since they are so independent. Do miss ours..
ReplyDeletehave a great day..xoCarolyn
