Thankful Thursday
Do you remember those paper flowers we made as crafty ideas when we were kids? I sure do and my mom also remembered me making tons of these as a kid...what can I say? I get on a roll sometimes. I really appreciate the beauty of these real poppies that look so delicate with their paper-like petals, but they are actually pretty tough. This poppy just made it through a storm but when the sun came out again, the color was just amazing. So thankful to be able to slow down a bit and admire the beauty of a simple poppy on a warm spring day.
I get to start a new job, and new kind of project and I am thankful for that this week too.
Psalm 62:1
My soul finds rest in God alone:
My salvation comes from Him.
Beautiful flowers, aren't they? You got a new job already?? Wonderful! I guess you won't be coming here in June:(
ReplyDeleteBeautiful poppies.
ReplyDeleteGood luck in your new job. Pet Emily for me.
Beautiful..I tell you, the color of poppies are just breath taking. I have a few and have to be thankful they don't need care, since I am a lousy gardener..They excite me every year..
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your new job..saying a prayer for you and wishing you luck..Sorry, I have been so sloppy visiting..but I always return.xoCarolyn
It's wonderful to be able to enjoy my walks again...at my own pace. Peaceful.
ReplyDeleteMy new job involves mapping networks. I'm still trying to find balance and I think this will help my right/left brain stay on track. I just had to take this opportunity now and I think it was a good choice. Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers.
Smile today. :)
Hope you had a great Mother's Day..I am late, as usual, but the thought is always there, even if I am late.
