Thankful Thursday

The wreath is on the door
and the snow is on the tree.
God has laid His holy hands
on all that we can see.

Be quick to raise your voice
and praise what He has brought.
Keep now His love in every choice
and Christmas in every thought.

Thankful for the beautiful colors and simple joys of preparing for Christmas during Advent.

  1. Delightful Miss Emily in a very comfortable, peaceful moment. I like the poem. Is it one of yours?

  2. Very nice poem. Emily's blanket looks like one your mom made me! I got your card today, yours is on the way. Hope you all are well.

  3. Beautiful poem and your cat gives me a good laugh..Sure looks comfy..
    Have a wonderful weekend..

  4. I found this poem (no author) and thought it was similar to ones I have written in the past, certainly reflected my feelings and thought it was a lovely Christmas poem to share...although I didn't want to write by anonymous. Some of the poems on my blog are written by others, some by me...I try to give credit where credit is due. Glad you enjoyed it too.

Emily is using our Christmas afghan to keep warm this month and this one was made by very first afghan, made in 1990!
    Merry Christmas! :)

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Emily and I appreciate it...meow! Smile today. :)
