It may be hard to believe that we were snowed in this week, with all the warm sunshine we are having this weekend but I had to hope with all my heart that Spring would arrive in time for Easter. There are still no beautiful flowers in bloom everywhere but at least the snow has mostly disappeared. An ice cream cake made a special birthday girl happy, although it hadn't reached the 50 degree mark just yet here. I made some pretty Spring time candles to forget how cold it was outside, but what really lifted our spirits was being outside yesterday evening and watching this huge hot air balloon going over. It felt so close and it was quiet so we could hear the roar of the fire and it was so nice, we were not shivering. Happy Easter!

Glad to hear that your snow has mostly melted! We have had a little snow the past couple of weeks but it's gone now. My son and family are sending me wonderful photos each day from their vacation in Hawaii which makes me happy - so lush and green there. Happy Birthday to your daughter and have a beautiful Easter! ReplyDeleteThank you for your beautiful comments..George was buried yesterday and it was my birthday..The girls were pall bearers with their husbands..it was a beautiful service. Couldn't have a mass, Holy Saturday..but he will have many masses later on..Have a wonderful Easter and sending you much love from our home to yours..xoCarolyn
